Y’all!!! My election anxiety is running HIGH and I am STRESSED!!! Ahhh! I cannot stop refreshing the news. And holding my breath. Whew. Okay. Back to the topic at hand…

We’ve been very lucky with the weather lately here in Boise. It actually hit 75 degrees yesterday—on November 5th! That is definitely a new record high for the date. I snuck in one last skirt outfit to mark the occasion. Don’t worry, though; in a few days, we may not even reach 40 degrees. Oh, the joys of an active weather pattern in the fall.

I’m not sure whether to write about bodysuits or wrap midi skirts for this post…shall we just discuss a little bit of both? I’ve decided that I like bodysuits best with looser bottoms instead of jeans. I first wore this bodysuit from Madewell with jeans, and even though I liked how the look came together, it wasn’t terribly comfortable to sit with an extra layer at my desk all day long. With looser bottoms, like this wrap midi skirt or a pair of paperbag pants, the bodysuit doesn’t feel as much like I’m wearing an extra layer. Not to mention, the lack of tucking required by a bodysuit makes an outfit with loose pants or a skirt super unfussy and streamlined!

And speaking of wrap midi skirts, this is another outfit that is perfect for either the office (depending on your dress code/personal comfort) or for work from home. It’s like a different, more casual type of skirt suit. 😏 The length of a midi skirt is modest enough for the office, but I would personally avoid clingy fabrics and this particular skirt is just a touch clingy. That said, this skirt has the perfect fabric (modal!) for working from home—it’s a nice weight and so soft. It’s exactly the type of item I’d wear to WFH if I didn’t live with cats. I absolutely love that my cats sit on my lap but I worry too much about their claws ruining my “nice” clothes!

Tie it all together with a fun pair of printed flats and layered necklaces and you’ve got yourself an outfit to wear on those fleeting warm fall days!
