Current Favorite Nighttime Routine Beauty Products (on sale!)

Current favorite nighttime routine skincare and hair products / beauty products to buy during the Sephora Holiday Savings Event — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

Here I am, writing this post on Election Day, trying not to get sucked into social media and failing. My goal is to finish this post before I start completely panicking. Bleh.

Anyway! In honor of Sephora’s Holiday Savings Event that started recently, I rounded up my current favorite skincare and hair products that I use at night. I’m definitely not a beauty blogger, but I always appreciate reading these types of posts on other blogs to get an idea of what to look at and possibly add to my cart during sales like these, so I figured I’d share in case you appreciate these posts, too. Now is a great time to order new products to try, stock up on old favorites, and purchase gifts! (There are so many great gift sets available!) What are you planning on purchasing during the sale?

Current Favorite Nighttime Routine Beauty Products

FarmacyGreen Clean makeup removing cleansing balm, coconut gel sheet masks, Daily Greens oil-free gel moisturizer, Honey Drop lightweight moisturizer, Sleep Tight firming night balm

I looove Farmacy! My first Farmacy purchase was the Green Clean makeup remover, which is a product I’ve repurchased countless times. I use it most often in the shower at night to remove makeup first before doing a cleanse with a face wash. Korri and I both love their sheet masks and have stocked up on those.

I purchased some of their moisturizers in the past couple of months since it’s so dang dry here! The Daily Greens moisturizer has the most lovely, crisp scent that feels cooling when applied. I use it most nights though it is a little sticky. I use the Sleep Tight firming night balm 2-3x a week in lieu of the Daily Greens moisturizer; it’s not something that soaks into the skin (in my experience), and I usually have to rinse it off in the morning, but my skin feels really nice in the morning afterward! I have a small sample size of the Honey Drop that I bring with me for travel and love that, too. I’ve heard amazing things about the Honey Halo, and I’m so excited to try it when I’m out of Daily Greens.

In the widget below, I included all of these products as well as other Farmacy products I own and have used or will be using as soon as other products are out! There are also a few products that I want to try and a few excellent value sets!

Kiehl’s calendula deep cleansing foaming face wash and creamy eye treatment

I have a sample size of the face wash that has been a staple on a few trips now. I’ve also been using the creamy eye treatment with avocado, which has been fine but I honestly can’t tell if it’s making much of a difference (that’s how I feel with all eye creams so far, though, haha). I’ll probably try something new next time just for the heck of it but I know others love this. It is a nice, smooth eye cream.

Some nights, when I feel like my skin needs extra moisture, I’ll use midnight recovery concentrate on top of the moisturizer. I’ve also used the calendula herbal extract toner (a sample came with the face wash sample I haven’t used up yet) and thought it was great!

If you’re looking for a gift, I purchased the set of three lip balms last year to give to my brothers (each got one). Not sure if they ever used them, but they got good reviews from others! Haha.

Fresh Beautysoy face cleanser and rose face mask

I am a huge fan of the Fresh soy face cleanser. It’s light but isn’t drying and it feels like it gets the job done. After constantly ordering samples (I used to take them on trips), I finally ordered a full size product to keep by the sink. The rose face mask is also a favorite—I apply it after washing my face in the shower on the nights I shave my legs since that takes me a few minutes to do! The smells is wonderful. Another great (and popular) product that I use is the sugar lip treatment balm; buy a bunch in a set and give them as gifts!

Sephora Collectionface masks

These masks are inexpensive, and I actually LOVE how they feel on. I also rub in the excess product into my skin afterward, and my face always looks radiant! They’re obviously just fun “quick fixes” but I enjoy doing them every once in a while as a self-care pick-me-up after showering. Now is a great time to stock up! My favorite scents are pearl, rose, and lychee but honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! deep conditioning mask

I’ve been wanting to try this brand ever since I learned about it back when rounding up a list of Black-owned brands to support. I’ve been using the deep conditioning mask for about six weeks or so, and I love it! I use it every other time I wash my hair. I put it in after shampooing and then leave it on while I shave my legs (it needs to be on for at least 10 minutes; I usually have the Fresh rose face mask on at the same time). The product itself is so creamy and looks like it would be a delicious treat, haha! You can’t eat it but it is a lovely treat for your hair.

Olaplex No. 0 intensive bond building hair treatment and No. 3 hair perfector

I follow so many bloggers that have been absolutely raving about Olaplex, and because I am easily influenced, I decided to try it out! I ordered the No. 0 in a kit that came with a trial size of No. 3. No. 0 is applied first to “wet” the hair, and then after letting it do its thing, No. 3 is applied and can stay on for as long as you like before showering. Because my hair is so long, I realized that I’d use the No. 0 bottle to wet my entire head twice before it was gone, so my trick is using a spray bottle of water to wet my hair and then squirting on a bit of No. 0. I use this every other time I wash my hair (the times when I don’t use Briogeo above). I’ve since used up the trial size of No. 3 and have a full size product. I’m highly considering purchasing a second bottle of No. 0, as mine is about half used!

My hair feels really soft when I use this product, but I’m not convinced that it is actually repairing my hair—not that I expected it to fix all of my split ends, but ya know...
