January Style Sudoku: Outfits 6–10

OUTFIT 6 • Friday, January 18th
I finished up the workweek last week with another layered outfit. This cardigan isn’t as warm as I wish it was, but I like how it looks with the striped tee. I immediately came home and changed into a comfy outfit for an evening of watching gymnastics on the couch!

OUTFIT 7 • Saturday, January 19th
I’ll be honest: I wore this outfit for about an hour on Saturday evening. I probably wouldn’t even have gotten dressed and left the house if it weren’t for this challenge! Korri and I ran to the grocery store to pick up a few things. The rest of the day was spent hanging out at home (Korri is on the night shift, so he sleeps during the day…and I can’t do much if I’m home because I’ll wake him up). I’m not a huge fan of how the cardigan layers over the flannel shirt; I prefer this cardigan layered over slimmer tops, like my striped tee or a fitted sweater.

OUTFIT 8 • Sunday, January 20th
Sunday looked a lot like Saturday insofar as I spent most of the day relaxing at home. I did meet a couple of friends for late afternoon drinks/snacks at a local restaurant. It was pouring rain when I left the house, so I was glad to have my Hunter boots!

OUTFIT 9 • Monday, January 21st
I had the day off of work, so it was another day with not a whole lot going on while Korri slept. To celebrate my youngest brother’s recent birthday, we went out to dinner with my family in the evening and then to my dad’s house to hang out for a little bit. The dinner location was slightly more upscale than usual, but since this is Boise, casual reigns supreme. (I definitely was not the most casually-dressed person there, though, haha.) This is one of my favorite outfits from this batch.

OUTFIT 10 • Tuesday, January 22nd
I wasn’t initially planning on wearing this outfit to work, as I wasn’t sure if the cropped sweater + high-rise jean combination would look a little too risqué, but I wore it to work anyway! (I wore a black Heattech top by Uniqlo under the sweater and tucked into my jeans just in case.) I got a massage, which meant my hair got a little greasy from the lotion, so I was glad to have the beanie to cover my head. This outfit was also one of my favorites, but I wish the sweater was just an inch or two longer or the jeans an inch or two higher; I’d probably repeat this outfit if they overlapped more (though I might repeat it for a weekend…).
