I just now realized that my navy striped tee looks black in these photos, agh! Why does the lighting have to play games with me? It's so incredibly smoky here that everything has an orange tint and we can barely see the sun. Our air quality is the worst it's been all summer. I'm pretty sure this happens every August/September, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. As much as I hate wishing time would pass, I'm looking forward to fall if only so we get cooler temps and wet weather for the fires!

Anyway, I apologize for the poor lighting/editing that didn't pull out the blue in my tee, haha. Blue and white is one of my all-time favorite color combinations to wear, especially in the summer, and especially when it involves multiple shades of blue. I had fun with this look, opting to wear dusty blue caged sandals in lieu of a "safer" pair like my beige or cognac sandals. I was a little worried that these sandals wouldn't work with these jeans because the jeans aren't really cropped on me so there's almost no space between the hem of the jeans and the top of the sandals. It ended up working out. :) I'm slowly but surely moving out of my rut and having more fun with outfits!
