Happy (Cyber) Monday! Are you all shopped out yet? Surprisingly, I had no desire to even buy anything online on Black Friday. The sheer number of emails I got that day (nearly 150) was overwhelming! I browsed some of the sales but ultimately decided to hold off. I don't have much of a list of items I need right now so it would be pointless to buy something that I'm not 100% sure about. There are some tempting sales happening right now for Cyber Monday, but I'm trying to hold off. Receiving packages in the mail at this time of year makes me nervous!
We've had some unseasonable warmth the past few days. Remember the outfit I said I was going to wear for Thanksgiving? I did wear it, but it ended up being far too warm for cashmere; it hit 66°F—a new record high for November 23rd! (I guess it ended up not being very practical, ha!) It's kind of strange for this time of year, but I'm trying to enjoy it because winter will be a rude awakening when it decides to stick around for good. The only downside to the warmth is the fact that it doesn't totally feel like Christmas is in four weeks...haha.
All this warmth is great in regards to outfit planning! I feel like I haven't worn this suede jacket enough, so I was happy to get a chance to wear it over the weekend. It went perfectly with my burgundy cropped cashmere sweater and blush pink skinny jeans. The charcoal, burgundy, and black make the pink denim seasonally-appropriate (not unlike the last time I wore these jeans!).
P.S. My crazy hair in these photos is exactly why I wear my hair up 75% of the time! It's so unruly, especially the day after it's washed. Someday I won't be lazy and I'll figure out the right products and styling tricks to tame it...
