Weather appropriate
We have A LOT of snow, as evidenced by these photos. More snow has fallen already this month than all of last winter. I would definitely offer to ship it elsewhere if I could, haha. It's ridiculous. I'm already a huge homebody in the winter and this is not helping matters any. I don't want to go anywhere. (It doesn't help that my car was snowed in after the plow went by, but I don't have much of an excuse anymore since my sweet boyfriend dug it out.)
I've basically been living in some combination of down coat + sweater + jeans + snow boots if I have to leave the house. The cute shoes I brought aren't ideal for trudging through 8"+ of snow. I've been wanting a black parka-like coat for a while, and I am so pleased with this coat from Uniqlo! It's actually a lot warmer than I was expecting it to be. Coupled with my new cable knit sweater from Amour Vert—seriously the dreamiest, most luxurious sweater I've ever put on my body—I'm snug as a bug. I'm also so excited to finally have a nice pair of leather gloves. I kept pointing to these when my boyfriend asked for gift ideas and he got the hint. ;)
