A Hint of Pink

Since February is now only two (!) days away, I suppose it's time to start thinking about Valentine's Day! (To be honest, I'm just glad January is finally ending. It's my least favorite month of the year. Even though I was out of town for half of the month, it still felt like it was dragging!)

Anyway, I'm not one to plan out themed outfits months or even weeks in advance, but I do sometimes think of themed outfits. Even though it's not my favorite holiday to dress for, I have a couple outfit ideas in mind for Valentine's Day. I'm not entirely sure if we are planning on doing anything that day besides indulging in too many sweet treats, but I'll definitely share them here in case anyone is looking for inspiration for your own outings. :) (Plus, it's fun to get in the spirit of the holidays!)

For a somewhat-Valentine's Day-inspired look, I layered my light pink tank top under my new grey sweater (previously featured in this post). I suddenly thought of wearing these garments together last week, and I love how the high-low-plus-split-hem is mirrored in each garment! I pulled out my white denim again for this look and, of course, decided on the matchy ankle boots. I added my quartz pendant to finish the look; I actually wish I had more pendant necklaces, since I've been reaching for my select few so much lately!
