May Style Sudoku, At Home: Outfits 11–14
I wrapped up my May style sudoku, at home edition last Saturday! I previously shared outfits 1-5, outfits 6-10, and now the final four outfits are below. A full recap will be published this Wednesday!
OUTFIT 11 • Wednesday, May 20th
Holy rain, you guys. It rained all day long on Wednesday. I can’t even remember the last time that happened! Our rain gauge had over an inch of water for the day, which is a lot considering we live in the desert! It was a perfect moody day to—what else—stay inside and work from home. 😉 Ha!
I wasn’t quite sure if I’d like this outfit when I got to wearing it. Mostly, I wasn’t sure if the color combo would feel too Christmassy for this time of year. I don’t think it was! What do you think? Otherwise, it was perfectly comfy to work in, even though this cardigan does make me look a little bit like a linebacker. At least the wide leg pants balance out the silhouette…

OUTFIT 12 • Thursday, May 21st
I had a meeting on Thursday where no one saw me (because I don’t have a webcam on my computer), so the sweater blazer was the perfect accessory. At least I knew I was put together for the meeting, even if nobody else knew it. The best part was the comfy pants…and I totally wear these to work in normal circumstances, so this outfit is one worth repeating once I head back into the office.
After a rainy-all-day Wednesday, we got some more showers on Thursday. Gotta love spring! I very much enjoyed the rain because I know a hot and dry summer will be here before we know it.

OUTFIT 13 • Friday, May 22nd
The Friday before a long weekend is the best kind of Friday! (Along with payday Friday…and even more so when the two coincide!) The sun finally peeked out after a long week of rain, though we did get a few light afternoon showers. Everything looked so lush and green outside!
I guess I kind of matched the greenery a little bit with this cardigan…and I’m so happy I was able to snag it before the color sold out last month. I can never have too many layering options. As for the hat, I purposefully included it in this sudoku to get more wear out of it (you may remember it from my “worst purchases of 2019” post). I felt kind of stuck when it came to styling it since it’s pretty stark for being off-white. I ended up really enjoying the outfits with it!

OUTFIT 14 • Saturday, May 23rd
After an active weather week, we finally got a full day of sun on Saturday! I headed out in the morning to grab our farmers market purchase and to pick up brunch. I wore a light jacket with this outfit because it was quite chilly. I ended up not leaving the house for the rest of the day, but it was nice enough to open the windows and give the cats some fresh air.
I am in love with this light pink, off white, and navy color combination! I’m glad I went for a colorful palette for this style sudoku; it really brightened my otherwise monotone days spent at home. I will say that after wearing these cotton-linen pants a few times, they really stretched out, especially around the knees (and were covered in cat hair, of course). These definitely need to be washed and shrunk back into shape after a couple of wears.
