If I had been in a coma and then woke up over the weekend, I would have thought we were in March and not January simply because we were running about 20°F above normal for this time of year! The past few days have been some of the warmest in mid-January that I can remember in recent years, and tomorrow is forecasted to be almost 60°F. That's downright balmy! It's going to be difficult when winter inevitably makes its return...which is looking like will happen as early as this weekend.

Since it felt a whole lot like spring outside, I wanted to look as springy-in-mid-winter as possible. ;) Enter the light colors: ivory, blush pink, and tan...plus a navy coat for good measure (since it's still winter, after all!). I love these warmer days because I get a chance to pull out my cute coats that aren't quite as warm as my trusty puffer coats, especially in the morning and evening chill!

My next task is to plan some more cute cold-weather-appropriate outfits to get me through the next few weeks until spring is finally here for good!
