Everything I Bought in the 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (NAS) is officially open to everyone as of last Friday, July 15th! Did you know that I didn’t even know the sale was a thing until I started following bloggers myself? I enjoy seeing what “normal” people buy and actually wear/use, so I hope you find this post helpful if you’ve been considering making a purchase yourself. It overwhelms me to look through the whole sale (thankfully most full-time bloggers put together good guides), so if that’s you, too, I hope this helps—and please let me know what you bought, too!

Just a reminder… The Anniversary Sale is just that: a sale. There will always be another sale. If what you wanted sold out, there will be similar items made in the future. There are some good deals to be had, but there are also some not-so-great deals, and some items will, as I learned the hard way, be marked down even greater a month or so after the NAS ends. Bookmark/save the items you like to your wish list and watch for returns and future discounts!

I was able to shop the sale on Wednesday, July 13th, I think because I’m a Nordy Club member. I do not have the credit card. The Nordy Club is their rewards program, and it’s free to join! Be sure to join it if you haven’t yet. You get a couple of double points days to use whenever (use one if you make a big NAS purchase), and the points you earn go towards notes (coupons) for discounts off future purchases.

Here’s everything I bought in the 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I went a little bit crazy this year… 🙈 You’re entering a judgement-free zone!

My 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Purchases

CLOTHING

Zella Live In High Waist Pocket Bike Shorts • Sale Price: $32.90 (After Sale: $49)
I already have these bike shorts in black, size small, so I ordered them in “blue denim” (also size small) since I’m using our exercise bike at home more regularly. I love that they aren’t too compressive, and they have pockets!

Zella High Waist Studio Lite Pocket 7/8 Leggings • Sale Price: $38.90 (After Sale: $65)
As far as black leggings go, these leggings are my very favorite (so far—admittedly I’ve never tried some of the cult-favorite brands like Lululemon!). I’ve tried a few different Zella styles (read my giant list of Zella reviews), and these stood out as the most comfortable. I purchased them in size XS in a previous NAS, and while they somehow still fit, I wanted a second pair so I got this new pair in size small. The 7/8 length is perfect on me.

Chantelle Soft Stretch Thong • Sale Price: $14.90 (After Sale: $20)
My underwear drawer is in desperate need of on overhaul (I still have lots of undies from my college days, eeep), so I’m trying new brands in hopes of finding one or more I love! These thongs got great reviews. The interesting thing about Chantelle is that their undies are one size, and they’re designed for sizes XS-XL. It seems like they work really well for some people and not others. I bought three colors; if you buy at least three the total price is reduced to $39!

Chantelle Soft Stretch High Waist Briefs • Sale Price: $14.90 (After Sale: $20)
I also purchased a couple of pairs of high waist briefs that are also one size. I actually just got these in the mail, and they LOOK small. But they stretched just fine and were plenty comfy around my hips and waist. The tightest spot was the seam around the legs, which might irritate someone with larger thighs than me. They do seem thin. You can also buy 3 for $39!

Saalt Period & Leakproof Regular Absorbency High Waist Briefs • Sale Price: $29.90 (After Sale: $39)
While browsing the underwear, I found Saalt period undies! Saalt is a Boise-based brand that I’ve been interested in trying, so I ordered the high waist briefs. I sized up to medium after reading a few reviews, and that was the right choice (they also came in the mail already; they shipped directly from Saalt here in town). They’ll work perfectly for when I’m bloated, which happens often on my period. You may have to watch out for staining along the crotch seams because the briefs are a light pink color, and you can also see the black period pad through the outside of the undies. The fabric is REALLY soft!

SHOES

Marc Fisher Yarita Pointed Toe Bootie • Sale Price: $100 (After Sale: $179)
Boots were the first section of the sale I browsed, and I immediately fell in love with these booties. One of my favorite pairs of ankle boots is a pair of Marc Fisher boots that I bought in NAS a few years ago. I ordered these in white (!), which is a new and exciting color for me. I hope I don’t ruin them! I went with size 7.5, which is what I own in my other pointed-toe Marc Fisher boots, so hopefully they work. And I’m really hoping they’re more of a creamy white color and not a stark, pure white.

Hunter Original Short Back Adjustable Rain Boot • Sale Price: $110 (After Sale: $165)
Out of all of my purchases, these rain boots were probably the least necessary. I really don’t need another pair of rain boots (not that I needed any of my other purchases, but you know). These are a gorgeous olive color I couldn’t resist! Plus, I don’t have Hunters this height yet, and the calf width is adjustable. They come in whole sizes only so I ordered size 7.

HOME + BEAUTY

Nordstrom Bliss Plush Throw • Sale Price: $29.90 (After Sale: $39.50)
I first purchased this blanket in 2016, and then I purchased a second one in 2017 because I loved the first one so much. Since then, I’ve given it as a gift multiple times. I recently did a little rearranging of our blankets and moved some into the guest room, so there’s an empty spot in the blanket basket in the living room, and it gave me an excuse to buy another one. LOL. It’s an obsession. I’ve washed these blankets multiple times and they still comes out so soft every time. My cats love them too, as you can imagine.

Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve • Sale Price: $10.50 (After Sale: $16)
I love Kiehl’s products (I have a big review post coming atcha soon!), and the hand salve is one of my favorites of the bunch. I keep a small hand salve at my desk in the office because my hands always feel SO dry/stripped after washing them with the cheap office soap. Shop all Kiehl’s products in the NAS.

Nécessaire The Body Duo Set • Sale Price: $35 ($50 Value)
This was definitely an impulse buy, but it was available, so I figured…why not try an influencer favorite brand?! Haha! I’ve heard such great things from other bloggers and decided to try it for myself. It’s a body wash/lotion duo. I have enough lotion to last me through 2023 now I think.

Whew! See, told you I went a little crazy, haha. 😅 Other items on my wish list include Zella Restore Soft Pocket Joggers (own in grey, want black), Zella Live In Pocket Joggers (that green!), Zella Restore Soft Lounge Longline Bra (have in XS, want S), and Zella Restore Soft Pocket Leggings (have in XS, want S), but I’m trying to be good and not spend all my money. I also do NOT need more joggers, LOL.

Did you/are you planning to shop the Anniversary Sale? If so, let me know what you got! I’m sure there’s so many good things I missed.
