I mentioned in my previous post that I'm trying to get as much skirt and dress wear in before the really cool temperatures arrive. It's been in the 70s this week so fall is definitely right around the corner! I haven't seen any trees start to change, but once that happens I know we're on the downhill side of the seasonal rollercoaster. The worst part is how quickly fall passes (I mean, the holidays are in only three months), and then it's winter... Boo!
Let's rewind and get back to summer...LOL.
This dress by Amour Vert is my favorite dress addition of the year so far. I love it way more than I thought I would considering it was an impulse purchase! Not only is the fabric soft and comfortable, it's super flattering with the tie-waist detail. The long sleeves make it ideal for the transitional seasons. Amour Vert made the same dress with short sleeves and I was so tempted to order a second dress! I'm really hoping they release a sleeveless version next summer.
Since the dress is charcoal grey, I kept the color palette on the darker side with black sandals and wine-colored satchel as a nod to the upcoming season. I may even pull this dress out again later this fall with booties and a leather jacket...hmm! :)
