I couldn't wait to wear my new blush pink skinny jeans once I got them! I first wore them in this outfit for Easter festivities: a dinner party at my dad and step mom's house complete with a couple of egg hunts (one for the teenagers—which my boyfriend, my brother, and I got to do since there were only three teenagers—and one for the adults with mini bottles of alcohol). If you look really closely, you can see the very small mud marks on my knee from one of the egg hunts. It got intense!
I had a couple of outfits in mind for these jeans and ended up wearing an old striped swing top in navy and gold flats to liven it up. The perforated bucket bag keeps the whole look light and ties in the stripes with the color and the gold flats with the gold rings. I mimicked the look of the gold rings on the bag with the double circles in the necklace—my new favorite piece! I love how it all came together; it's a perfect spring palette.
Also...yes, I'm aware that these jeans are really close to looking like my skin color. It was something I was worried about when I fell in love with them in the first place. But, like I said—I love them, so I'm going to wear them anyway and hope that the wrinkles make it obvious that I'm not in the nude when I'm out and about. ;)
