I don't always wear an outfit composed entirely of trendy items, but when I do, I make sure to blog about it. ;) But seriously—the fact that every item worn here is currently trending is just a coincidence. I was thinking of what shoes to wear with these jeans and figured my lace-up flats and espadrilles would go well with the cropped length. The striped grey top completes the look perfectly (and if I had one without the side ties, I think it would've looked just as good). The details in this look allowed me to go simple by wearing no accessories besides a quick swipe of pink lip balm.

I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about the cropped flare trend... To be honest, these felt like capris when I wore them. Are they too cropped or is that how they're supposed to feel? (I ended up keeping the petite version since the regular length "cropped" jeans hit at my ankles.) Looking at the photos, they don't look as short as they felt, so maybe I just need to get used to a shorter length again. I do have to say that I like how the flare seems to balance my hips. What do you think of cropped flare jeans? Have you given them a try?
