Fall into winter

Well, this is it as far as fall outfits go! I'm so bummed that winter arrived so early this year. Boo! That said, does this color combination look a little familiar? It's another outfit featuring some of my favorite autumn neutrals: black, ivory, army green, and burgundy. I love the expected touch of the burgundy boots. I'm especially a fan of how well the pants and boots go together. I rolled up the cuff of my pants once so they seamlessly meet the boots, and it looks even better than I imagined it would. Don't you love it when that happens?

In other news, my life is crazy busy right now! I'm prepping for a conference, trying to finish another journal article, and I've got about a million other things on my to-do list before I head home for Christmas. I can't wait until life slows down again in a couple of weeks...! I hate being so busy at this time of year. All I want to do is enjoy the holiday season since it goes by in a blink.
