Luckily for us, March hasn’t been bad so far in terms of weather (no “in like a lion” here!). (When it comes to the news, though? Ooof. Can we turn 2020 off and back on again?) We’ve had abundant sunshine and temperatures in the 50s, 60s, and even 70s already, so safe to say it’s been pretty nice around these parts, and I’m ready to bid adieu to winter and welcome spring with open arms!

This look is a simple one to cap off the season. I’ve relied heavily on sweaters the past three months and have not worn my flannel shirts as much as I have in years past, so it was time to pull out one of my favorite flannel Sunday shirts by Madewell. I know boxy-fitting shirts are not everyone’s jam, but I love them! This shirt is loose and comfy and makes me feel at ease when I wear it—and that’s why I own it in three different colors.

I kept with the neutral theme by adding the tan boots, and my gold earrings make me feel a little fancy. I believe this is the first actual outfit post featuring both the gold hoops and the ear cuff. I love wearing them together; they definitely act like a “third piece” when paired together even though it’s subtle compared to a cardigan, blazer, or jacket. These earrings also give me added confidence, which is especially nice to have at work!
