I’ve started the transition from winter to spring with this outfit! It’s been a while since I pulled out my white denim (six months, to be exact). I felt the urge to pair these kick crop jeans with my chocolate Aquatalia sock boots and added the brown-orange sweater to go with the boots. I’m not totally sure that the final result turned out as I thought it would (I don’t remember these jeans looking so stark white!), but it was fun to play around with my closet a little bit.

I opted to add the gold necklace and earrings because without something “extra”, I felt bare/boring, and I couldn’t think of a worthy third piece. I don’t typically wear a necklace and a pair of earrings in the same outfit, but the continuity of the circle pendant and circle studs makes my heart sing! It’s a combo I’ll likely repeat in future outfits.

Now that we have sprung forward with our clocks, I’m officially in a spring state of mind. It’s so nice to have extra light in the evenings for bike rides, outfit shoots, and cat walks! Now we just need a little bit of 70-degree weather and I’ll be really happy. 🙌🏻
