Happy June! We’re inching closer to the midway point of 2019…and I’m trying to not get ahead of myself. It’s so easy for me to get caught up in planning away the summer months with trips and other fun things, so I’m trying to be mindful and take it one day at a time and hopefully my summer won’t fly by so quickly. But—it’s still spring—astronomically speaking, of course. ;)

It’s hard to believe that it’s still spring because it’s currently warm enough to pair my midi skirts with short or no sleeves! This outfit was inspired by this pin I came across on Pinterest recently, though I think my outfit reads a little more Halloween than that one. (My rust-colored skirt definitely leans more red-orange, haha.) Still, it worked well for a day at my desk. I wore my camel cardigan to keep warm because what are temperature-controlled offices? Also, I just about fell down the stairs (at home, not at work, thank goodness) while wearing these shoes—eep! Guess I still need to nail down the whole walking-in-platform-sandals thing…
