You all know how much I love wearing double denim (remember my subtle version from last month with white denim?), so of course I had to break it out again and play around with a bit of colorblocking by adding various shades of tan (including the camel and cognac varieties). This look felt really random when I put it together (another one of those get-out-the-door-quick weekday looks) but somehow looks cohesive when I see it here.

I am typically the type of person that matches at least two elements of my outfit, so it's fun for me to break out of that mold every once in a while and put together an outfit where nothing really matches. I think these are my favorite outfits to wear (and share here) so I'm hoping to think of more outfits like that in the future. It's so easy to think of all the items I own that match each other because it makes building outfits easier, but it's nice to give myself the creative challenge of purposefully not matching!
