If it wasn't painfully obvious (see here and here), I am so over winter. I shouldn't be—considering that we had a spring-like winter for almost four weeks—but now that winter has made a return, I want it to go away in favor of 60-degree temperatures, no bitterly-cold breezes, and no threat of snow. A few inches of snow fell Thursday morning, just in time for the morning commute, and we are getting another good storm tonight/tomorrow. Boo! Dear Mother Nature: It's the end of February, which means it's almost spring! Hint, hint!

I have exactly zero "blogworthy" winter outfits planned to get me through the next few weeks. I'm not feeling very inspired by my closet recently. I find myself rotating through the same sweaters, jeans, and boots, which doesn't make for exciting outfit posts. I currently don't have any outfits "on deck" (meaning shot and ready to be posted). I've been blogging outfit-to-outfit almost this whole winter! Normally I can get ahead and have 2-3 outfits ready to go just in case the weather doesn't work in my favor. I'm just kind of going through the motions and definitely feeling very blah right now. I swear the only things getting me through are the Olympics, the Bachelor (even though I'm not an Arie fan), and collegiate gymnastics (I've become a bit of a superfan, which you probably noticed if you follow me on Twitter because that's basically all I post about on the weekends, haha).

This outfit ended up being a pleasant surprise! I wouldn't normally have thought to layer a medium-weight sweater under a blazer, but here we are and I'm a fan. My arms weren't restricted, and the blazer added an extra layer of warmth. I was actually almost too warm wearing this indoors, but I could have easily shed the blazer if I needed without taking much away from the overall look. I basically just added the blazer because I was in work-related training and wanted to feel a bit more put together than usual since I was going to "seen" by my colleagues. (As someone who typically sits behind a computer all day, I don't normally see many other people on a daily basis.)
