I’m so excited to introduce you to one of my latest wardrobe additions: this beautiful faux fur coat! I spotted it in an email from & Other Stories (one of my favorite smaller brands to shop) and couldn’t get it out of my head. So, naturally, I ordered it and now we’re here. ;) Isn’t it gorgeous? I’m in love with the color, and the faux fur feels so luxe. It’s almost too nice to wear out, haha. I don’t want it to get ruined! I know I say that I’m “obsessed” with so many things in my wardrobe, but the thing is that…it’s true! Every new item I add that I can’t get enough of is another item closer to having a closet full of things I truly love. I’m slowly getting there. I think I will always have a rotating closet to some degree, but I really do want to love everything.

I decided to match my calico cat, Sybil, for this outfit, and wear this coat with my ivory waffle knit cashmere sweater, black authentic stretch skinny jeans by Everlane, and black velvet ankle boots. I’m a huge fan of the textures going on! Playing with textures is an easy way to keep things interesting when layering is a must in order to keep warm. I’m planning on wearing this coat to see The Nutcracker in a couple of weeks as long as the weather cooperates. Now I just need to figure out what else I’m going to wear! Last year I wore a black dress with these velvet ankle boots. I have a feeling this year’s outfit might look somewhat similar…
