I am NOT ready for the long weekend to come to an end. But alas, today is the last day. (Petition for three day weekends every weekend? Ha! I feel like I’ve said that before…)

I have so many things I need to and want to get done (related to home and the blog) and yet what feels like no time to get any of it done, even when I get a holiday off of work. I’m paralyzed by how much I need to do that I feel overwhelmed by where to start first and then end up not doing anything. I’m 100% that person that runs through my to-do list for the evenings and weekends and then end up on the couch under a blanket watching TLC or Legally Blonde replays all day long. Sigh. I’m wondering if I’m expecting too much of myself right now? I related hard to this article describing “the lost emotion we’re all feeling right now.”

Note to self and anyone else that needs to read it: We just gotta start SOMEWHERE. Start with a small task or a rough draft. Just cross SOMEthing off the list or get an idea down on paper. Make a pinky promise to yourself. (Trying to motivate myself to get sh!t done tomorrow!)

Anyway, OUTFIT!!! I pulled out my pink skinny jeans for a late summer/early fall transitional look. I played up the sweet side by adding the white lace blouse, and the brown sandals and coordinating bag give that slight hint of fall. I’m still not sure about the pink jeans; I’ve owned them for a couple of years now but it really does look like I’m not really wearing pants at all. Korri loves them, though. Ha. Do you get rid of clothes that you are personally lukewarm about but that your S.O. loves? I can’t bring myself to part with them quite yet but it’s definitely crossed my mind a couple of times… Randomly, my outfits with these jeans are some of my most-pinned on Pinterest!
