How was your last weekend of March? Ours was fairly low-key. There was no gymnastics to watch this weekend as the regular season ended with conference championships a week ago, and the teams are preparing for regionals (play-offs for nationals), which are this upcoming weekend. Instead, we had the TV switching between basketball and baseball. The sports are never ending around here! ;) We did eventually venture out of the house to run some errands. I had to go to a local mall to make some returns, and we also stopped by Costco for the first time in a while.

I realized that, since I hate being in traffic and dealing with lots of people in stores, my favorite time to run errands is either right when the stores open or right before they close. Though, I will say that you will most likely be the only person in the store and thus subject to lots of questions from sales associates, but I’m not bothered by that as much as I am wading through people, haha. Going to Costco right before closing is so much more bearable! Normally I can’t stand going to Costco because ours is always a zoo. Is that a universal characteristic of Costco? When do you prefer to run errands?

I ended up wearing this outfit when we were out and about. I love leather jacket weather and decided to wear my new Amour Vert tee underneath. I debated between wearing black ankle boots and these red ankle boots but ultimately thought that the black boots made it a little too heavy. I’m not super crazy about the red boots, either, but I actually think I’d like this look better if I wore a pair of jeans in a darker wash. I always notice details like this after the fact (once I’m writing it out here, of course)!
