Just when we thought winter was coming to an end, the temperatures dropped...and it snowed. It was accumulating snow; it wasn't just a dusting. Agh! Luckily it was gone just as quickly as it came, but still. Not the time or the place, Mother Nature!
I'm trying really hard to not revert back to my default winter outfits to combat the cold we're suddenly facing. That said, I hadn't worn this cardigan in what felt like forever, so I ended up wearing it on a day I felt like being particularly cozy. It really does feel like I'm wearing a blanket! My office can lean on the chilly side, so I was definitely thankful for a layer that kept me warm enough without me needing to run my space heater. I paired it with my black peplum top (which is nearly impossible to see in these photos) instead of a sweater just to remind myself of the current season.
I was all excited for the start of spring because I have a bunch of outfit ideas to wear and share, but it turns out they're all outfits for 60-70 degree temperatures, LOL. Those will have to wait a few more weeks probably. My goal right now is to try and wean myself off of wearing boots... I need to prepare my feet for flat and sandal season! The first few weeks are always rough as I try to build up the callouses. I know...gross, but it happens! Are your feet the same?! Please tell me I'm not alone. ;)
