This week, spring finally decided to make an appearance over here in the west (sorry about that snowstorm and cold in the east, guys—it's your turn!). After what felt like such a long and snowy winter, it feels so nice to finally feel some 60s and 70s! I was able to wear a skirt without tights for the first time since last fall! That definitely marks the start of spring to me. ;)

When it warms up, I love getting to pull out my lighter jackets, like my army green utility jacket I've had for about three years now. I love it combined with a striped lace-up top and simple brown flats for a casual, chic, grad student-approved look. These medium wash jeans from Madewell were my very first denim purchase from the brand, and I purchased the wrong inseam length for some unknown reason. I'm debating getting them tapered and hemmed to the ankle so I don't have to cuff them every time I want to wear them. I was actually thinking about selling them because of that but they really are so nice! I need to decide pretty quick, though, since I'll be leaving my local Madewell stores in a few months (I'm so bummed about that to be honest!).
