Denim vest outfit with floral dress and neutral sandals — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

Since Monday marked the official first day of the fall semester, I guess it also marked the beginning of my 21st year in school (um, what). That makes me feel so old, and I'm beyond ready for it to be my final year in school, haha!

This is the outfit I put together for what should be my last first day of school ever! Does the vest look familiar? I just featured it in my list of pre-fall favorites. I stopped by Madewell the same day that post went live and couldn't leave without it! I love it as a layer over dresses because of its cropped style. I decided to pull out an old favorite floral dress for a super girly look. I love how each first day of school is kind of like a rebirth; you can dress however you want and be whoever you want, and I decided to lean on the girly side of my style. :)
