Sun-drenched

I just returned from my final vacation of the summer (whomp-whomp...), though when the Olympics roll around next month I can't imagine I will be terribly productive at work. ;) I had so much fun romping around my hometown and checking off my summer bucket list. I'm putting together a post with a list of summer must-dos in case you ever find yourself in town!

For this trip, I really tried to pack a cohesive suitcase much like the one I put together for Vienna. That didn't really pan out—partially because I was traveling by car instead of plane which meant I had more space for bags/stuff in general and partially because I knew I needed to shoot outfit photos while I was there so I tried to think of somewhat creative outfit combinations that didn't involve the same items. I ended up bringing a little bit more than usual because of that latter reason, but I ended up wearing everything so I call it a win!

One outfit combination I knew I wanted to wear at some point this season was this red/pink floral top with these green shorts. The colors play off of each other nicely, and I didn't want to detract from that so I completed the look with my legs-for-days beige sandals.
