This is the first outfit I've worn since I came down with the terrible cold that knocked me out this past weekend. I'm still trying to get over it; this cough just won't quit! I knew that I was going to get sick after NYC. It was bound to happen. Oddly enough, this cold has been following the same sequence of symptoms that Chris had with his cold the week that I left for New York...so I think it's a morph of his cold. I'm happy that it decided to rear its ugly head AFTER I got home!
Anyway, this outfit is composed of items that were purchased before this year--oldies but goodies. The necklace was a gift given to me last year, and I purchased the sandals last year. The shorts I got two years ago when I visited Maine for the first time with Chris's family. The top I got THREE years ago while I was interning with NASA in southern California. I also purchased a green tweed pencil skirt at the same time as this top (who knows what I was thinking at the time), and I also still have that because I wear it when I dress up as Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory (it doesn't happen often, but it is a go-to for comic con since it's easy, haha!). I love when I realize I made good purchasing decisions in the past and still have those pieces now. :) Good job, past self. Now my current self just need to do that more often!
In other news, I've FINALLY finished importing and reorganizing all of my old content. All of the internal links should be fixed, too, but please let me know if you come across any that are broken! :)
