Winter 2026 Wardrobe Additions
I took advantage of a couple of sales around Black Friday/Cyber Monday (Allbirds and Quince, the latter of which rarely discounts their items) to add some new things to my wardrobe. However, I have yet to wear some of the items I purchased, so I’m still thinking about whether they will have a place in my closet going forward.
Below, I rounded up everything I added to my wardrobe this past winter! All of my 2025 clothing purchases can be found on this Pinterest board. (The Pinterest board for my 2026 clothing purchases has not been made yet.) I also shared the items I tried and returned and what’s coming up for spring!

Winter 2026 Clothing Budget & Wardrobe Additions
$600 (quarterly budget) = $600 - $433 ($433 December + $0 January + $0 February) => $167 left over
Items I added to my wardrobe:
Allbirds Tree Runner NZ (paid $70 | originally $110)
Allbirds had a great Black Friday sale, so I took it as an opportunity to fill a couple of holes in my sneaker collection AND tried a couple of new-to-me styles. I ordered the Tree Runner NZ in natural black with the white (blizzard) sole in size 7, which has already proven to be a wardrobe workhorse (not surprisingly since they’re black!). I anticipate these sneakers making the cut for future travel packing lists.
Allbirds Wool Runner NZ (paid $70 | originally $110)
In order to get free shipping, and because the sale price of both pairs of shoes was about half of their regular price, I also ordered the Wool Runner NZ in the medium grey color with the white sole in size 7, a color I’ve had my eyes on for a few years. I opted for the NZ style in both shoes because reviews said they were sturdier and comfier than the original styles.
The North Face Osito Jacket (gift c/o my brother and his girlfriend)
My sweet baby brother and his girlfriend gave me this cozy fleece jacket for Christmas! This greyish-blue color is called twilight galaxy. I had to exchange the size small for a size medium (broad shoulder problems). It’s so warm and soft; it’s kind of unfortunate we didn’t have much of a winter here so I could enjoy it!
Quince Flowknit Mid-Rise Joggers in heather green and black (paid $34 each | originally $40 each)
I ordered two pairs of Quince joggers in two colors I don’t own, both in size medium. I’m not completely in love with the fit; they feel much looser through the leg, specifically through the cuff, and the fabric kind of catches on unshaved leg hairs in a way that doesn’t feel that great. It might just be my sensory issues, haha, but I’m still on the fence about these.
Quince Mongolian Cashmere Twist Headband in ivory and heather grey (paid $22.50 each | originally $25 each)
I wear beanies often in the winter, but they tend to make my head too hot or itchy, so I two of these cashmere headbands to keep my ears warm. I wore the heather grey headband on one particularly chilly day, but I haven’t worn the ivory just yet. Once again, this unseasonably warm winter meant that I didn’t have to wear my warmest clothes!
Quince Responsible Down Long Puffer Jacket (paid $180 | originally $200)
I tried Quince’s long puffer jacket nearly two years ago and ended up returning it because I wasn’t a fan of the shiny black color. At the time, there were only a handful of color options. I ordered the fun sea spray green color this time, and it’s so pretty in person, but the color definitely looks lighter in person than in the stock photos. I’m a big fan of green in general so I’m excited about this coat.
I did get to wear it once this winter, and my family made fun of me because others (Korri) were wearing sweatshirts (it wasn’t that cold, LOL), but I like it and the medium fits well with room to layer.
Items I tried and returned:
I did not return any of my purchases this past winter, but I may or may not end up returning the joggers. TBD!
What’s on deck for spring:
I’m not sure what’s gotten into me, but I can’t stop thinking about this waffle-knit polo! It looks so comfy and would be a perfect lightweight layer.
Quince Denim (Straight Jeans and Wide Leg Jeans)
I previously included Quince denim on my sartorial wish list about a year ago but never ended up purchasing any styles to try, and now there are so many more styles and colors to choose from. I’m back to being interested in trying a few pairs!
