Casual Workwear Style Sudoku, Hybrid Work Schedule: Outfits 1–5
I wrap up the second week of my new hybrid work schedule today! ICYMI, I’ve been full-time in the office since last June (check out my back to the office style sudoku capsule wardrobe), and I just started working part-time at home again. Here are the first five outfits from my casual workwear style sudoku: hybrid work schedule edition! I’m grouping the 14 outfits into three separate posts to be published on Fridays for the next three weeks starting today. Read my thoughts on each of the first five outfits I wore below. Hybrid Work Schedule
Outfit 1 • Monday, February 7th
I spend Mondays and Tuesdays in the office, so we kick things off with an office outfit! Because I have only five days in the office during these three weeks (the 21st is a work holiday), I opted to select one pair of office pants (in this case, jeans) for my sudoku and put them on a diagonal so they’ll be worn four times. I’ll wear my swingy wide leg pants on another office day.
I knew I wanted to include this flannel shirt in my style sudoku! It’s my thickest and coziest flannel shirt, perfect for late winter. Including it did throw my color palette off a little bit, but I don’t mind so much. (This might be my least cohesive style sudoku yet when it comes to color…)
I omitted shoes in my style sudoku in favor of jewelry because I don’t wear shoes to WFH (besides slippers, which you’ll see a lot!), and I wanted flexibility for my office outfits in case of inclement weather. Today, I opted for a pair of sneakers since it was going to be somewhat warm (high 30s) and they coordinated with my flannel shirt.

Outfit 2 • Tuesday, February 8th
Day two of two in the office this week! I don’t mind wearing the same pair of jeans two days in a row (though I will say I don’t normally do that, haha). Honestly, if you’re ever worried about wearing the same item or outfit two days in a row, I promise that NO ONE notices. Truly. It’s not that they don’t care, it’s that everyone else is thinking of themselves and is not at all worried about your outfit. I couldn’t tell you what my colleagues wore yesterday! Live your life and wear what you love!
Anyway, even though I’d normally alternate between a few pairs of jeans, I picked this one pair for the sudoku. My fuzzy fleece jacket has been getting a lot of wear this winter; it’s so cozy and soft and all I want to wear all day every day. I finished this outfit with another favorite: my shiny black (and pointy!) boss boots!

Outfit 3 • Wednesday, February 9th
I started my hybrid work schedule last week; I’m working from home Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays! My new alpaca-blend sweater was a last-minute addition to my sudoku; I tried to make a cardigan work in its place since I already had a sweater (the green cashmere sweater I wore on Thursday), but a regular sweater worked best in this spot. It looks super worn in the photo but it’s actually just a bunch of intentional fuzzies. I swear it looks better in person. 🤪
I have so many pairs of joggers that I considered including two in my style sudoku, but I forced myself to mix it up and include a pair of leggings in addition to one pair of joggers and one pair of swingy wide leg pants. These Zella leggings are still one of my top pairs!
The Ugg slippers are my newest slipper addition, and you’ll be seeing them a lot!

Outfit 4 • Thursday, February 10th
This is my kind of late winter work from home outfit! Cozy sweater—check; comfy joggers—check; slippers—check; beanie to tame the hair—check! These navy joggers were part of my very first purchase from Vuori last spring (I also bought a pair of joggers for Korri), and they started a minor obsession. I get the hype! I have two more pairs now (purchased on sale because whew they’re a little spendy) and had to cut myself off from buying more because there are not enough days in a year to wear them all, haha!
There isn’t a whole lot of color in my style sudoku outfits. This is one of the only ones featuring a real color combination: earthy green and navy. I mean, both colors are basically neutrals (especially in my wardrobe), but I’m going to call it colorful nonetheless. 😉

Outfit 5 • Friday, February 11th
It’s the last day of the first week! Fridays call for the comfiest WFH outfits of them all: my fuzzy fleece jacket and loose wide leg pants. I don’t think it can get much better than this. Outfits like these are exactly why I missed working from home so much, haha! I get to wear all of the WFH things I purchased during the 14 months I was working from home full time again, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about it.
Not pictured: the Boise State gymnastics baseball cap I wore in honor of meet day tomorrow!
