In-between Feeling
Happy Friday the 13th! I realized today that we’re pretty much halfway through September and I got kinda bummed out about it. September is one of my favorite months of the whole year—not just because of my birthday (though that is a fun bonus!), but because the weather is a nice blend of summer and fall. We have gorgeous, warm summer-like days and then rain storms that remind you that fall is indeed on our doorsteps. Everyone is excited for a change in the seasons and there’s just a feeling in the air that I don’t feel in other months.
I tried to channel that in-between feeling with this outfit: a somewhat darker/earthier color palette to usher in fall mixed with short sleeves and sandals as a reminder that it’s still summer. I wore my black blazer (similar) over top for work. I haven’t worn my Idaho tee in a while and had forgotten how soft and comfortable it is! Life is too short to wear scratchy tees (if I made a “30 things I learned before turning 30” list, that would be on it). Comfy tee + comfy pants + comfy sandals = a dream outfit!
