Fall = flannel, of course. This season, I added a new blue plaid flannel shirt to my wardrobe. I used to own a blue plaid flannel shirt by Madewell, but it sadly shrunk in the wash and didn’t fit well. This Uniqlo find is quite lightweight and probably won’t get worn as much on its own without another layer once winter hits for good since it is thinner than I prefer for flannel (it feels more like a soft cotton than typical thick, nappy flannel). I went up to a size small for a more relaxed fit and to account for possible shrinkage after being washed. FYI, shipping is free on all orders this weekend at Uniqlo! I find it funny that almost a year ago, we shot outfit photos along the same road (the trees and leaves are just so amazing every year) and I was wearing the same denim and boot combination. That was totally unintentional! I like what I like. ;) I feel like my style hasn’t take a major shift in a few years… when I started blogging, I wore a lot more dresses/skirts and dressed more twee/sweet than I do now. Then I fell in love with Madewell and that love affair has been going strong ever since. And slowly but surely, Everlane has been taking over my closet. I wonder what will be next? It’s fun to document my style with this blog—I never really notice these changes until I look back at what I used to wear!
