That fall feeling
Tomorrow (or today, which is likely when you’re reading this…) is the autumnal equinox—the official start of astronomical fall! I figured I’d celebrate the occasion by pulling out my olive green skinny jeans (FINALLY—I bought them in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale back in July) and putting together one of the most fall-appropriate outfits I could think of. I didn’t let myself wear these jeans until it felt more like fall, so I was beyond ecstatic when the temps cooled down enough. Not to mention, the trees are starting to change around here! That’s when it definitely starts feeling real.
Nothing reads more fall to me than plaid, so of course I had to wear a plaid top. This top is actually flannel, and I love that it’s not your typical button-up plaid flannel shirt. The contrasting sleeve detail is my favorite part! My top is a couple of years old and no longer available, but I did round up a few other blue plaid flannel tops in the widget below (most of which are button-up shirts…if only more retailers made a wider variety of plaid tops!).
