Shades of grey

This post is short and sweet because I've been distracted by various shows on TV tonight. We're currently watching Alaska State Troopers—definitely not a show I thought I'd get sucked into but 40 minutes later and I'm just barely starting this post and haven't yet thought of a post title, haha! Sometimes the hardest part of putting together a post is actually writing it...and I've definitely been struggling with that part lately. (Note: We are still watching over an hour later...!)

I mentioned in my previous post that I've basically been putting together outfits by grabbing items from my closet that haven't been worn or featured on the blog in a while. This time, it was my grey striped side-tie tee and my grey blazer that I hadn't pulled out in a while. Turns out the striped tee pairs perfectly with my crop flare jeans from Everlane. I appreciate the side-tie, which isn't a look I'm normally drawn to but it does add some fun to a basic tee. I love the charcoal grey-on-light grey going on and how the blazer and black sandals add contrast without being too much. I'm sure I'll repeat this one in the future!
