Linen-on-linen

I'm trying to put together this post while watching the finale of The Bachelorette but I'm so distracted by the fact that I drank half a bottle of wine to get through the episode because Becca made the WRONG decision. LOL. At the end of the season, I always ask myself why I watch this show, and then I get sucked in again when the new season starts. It's the only thing I look forward to on Mondays, haha. At least Bachelor in Paradise starts tomorrow...that show is always the best for some good ol' train-wreck drama. (Please tell me I'm not alone?)

I digress.

This outfit is one I put together quickly this morning. I've found that the vast majority of the outfits I've blogged this summer were very impromptu compared to outfits in seasons past. I have a note on my phone where I keep track of outfit ideas, and surprisingly, I only have a few outfit ideas in there right now, so I've had to think a little more on-the-fly when it comes to outfits to blog. I typically ask myself, "What have I not worn recently?" and then grab things that answer that question. ;)

The boyfriend jeans started this outfit. Comfortable for a Monday? Check! I haven't pulled out my linen blazer in a while, so I added that, and then I picked a linen tee to layer underneath. Nothing wrong with a little linen-on-linen action in the dog days of summer! The shoes came last, and I'm honestly not completely, 100% in love with how the shoes look with the rest of the outfit, but I considered all of my pairs of sandals and liked these the best...so, it is what it is I guess. Haha. :) What sandals or other pair of shoes would you wear with this look?
