Work to weekend: Earth Tierra strappy sandals

Work to weekend: Earth Tierra sandals — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

Ever since starting my full-time job last summer, my admittedly very casual wardrobe has needed to become double duty—no easy feat since my dress code in grad school was essentially nonexistent! Luckily, my dress code for work is fairly casual, too: jeans are the norm every day, and I've been able to wear pretty much everything I own except for short skirts and dresses and shorts.

I'm excited to partner with Earth Brands for the fourth (!) straight year to style a couple of pairs of shoes from their latest collection for work and for the weekend. First up is this multicolored pair of strappy sandals: the Earth Tierra. I was drawn to their simple style and variety of neutral colors: taupe, light grey, and a shimmery light grey. These sandals read more "dressed up" to me, so I found them easy to style for work. For the weekend, I think they work perfectly for somewhat special events; I wore them to Easter dinner and again for brunch, flea market shopping, and a birthday party. The best part is their comfort, in typical Earth Brands fashion! I had no problems wearing them all day. The heel barely feels like a heel! I took these in my usual size 7 for reference.

First up, here's how I styled the Tierra sandals for work! These jeans get a ton of wear at work because they're my darkest pair and there's no distressing. They go with everything and are definitely my most "polished" pair of jeans. I wanted to wear a light top to bookend the look, and I pulled out this linen shirt; I hadn't worn it in over a year (last featured here)! I do like the look of crisp white button-down shirts, but I hate the feeling of crisp white button-down shirts. This linen shirt gives me that white button-down look but without the stiff feeling of regular poplin shirts. The rolled sleeves keep it from looking too stuffy. I typically wear a nude-to-me Airism tank underneath since it's a bit sheer.

I love how this look came together—and even better? I get a ton of compliments when I wore these shoes! Seriously, every time I wear them I get compliments. I don't think there's anything else I own that gets as many compliments as these shoes do, haha. It's such a mood booster! :) Read on to see how I styled these for the weekend...

For the weekend, I swapped the jeans for a soft, comfortable dress. This dress is a new addition from Amour Vert, and I'm beyond obsessed with it! I ordered it kind of on a whim (mostly because it's called the Kim dress, haha), but it ended up being my favorite item in the order! It fits perfectly (I ordered it in size small), is extremely comfortable, and the gathering in the front is so flattering. I'm a huge fan of t-shirt dresses, but I don't like wearing them myself because I feel like my belly pooch is really obvious when I wear t-shirt dresses. This has the t-shirt dress fit and material, but the gathering and tie in the front conceals any problem areas. I can't get enough! I'm so happy it finally warmed up enough to pull it out. It paired perfectly with these sandals.

Since I wore this for somewhat "special" occasions—brunch, flea market shopping, and a birthday party—I finished the look with statement earrings and my simple black bag. I didn't want to take too much away from the dress by adding a different bag, and the sparkle on my ears complements the sparkle on my toes.

For Easter, I wore these sandals with my grey voluminous cashmere sweater from Grana, white skinny jeans from LOFT, and burgundy bag from Kate Spade. I'm looking forward to putting together more outfits with them—for work and for the weekend! Do you have a favorite look of the two?
