I found a true autumn wonderland recently. Aren’t the leaves INSANE?! It’s kind of sad that since these photos were taken, it’s been windy and rainy and so many of the trees are bare now (and so many leaves have blown away). Fall is so fleeting around these parts. Can you believe it’s November? I think I say that every month, both here and at some point out loud in my “real life” haha. I just can’t believe how fast this year feels like it’s flying by!

We were fortunate to have some absolutely beautiful late October weather, so I took full advantage with this outfit. This is exactly the vibe that I wish all my fall outfits had. Maybe it’s the leaves that make it? ;) But seriously: I love pairing chunky or oversized sweaters with mini skirts, and the tall boots keep my legs a little warmer but also make this look more seasonally-appropriate than had I worn ankle boots with no tights. The color combination of ivory, camel, and brown is rich and the perfect nod to autumn. This waffle knit cashmere sweater by Everlane is one of my favorites, and I was so excited to see that they brought it back this fall! It’s definitely worth the splurge.

Do you have any fun weekend plans? My mom and step dad are in town, and Korri’s parents were in town for a day, so it’s been a bit hectic making plans to see everyone! We are taking family photos this weekend, and I’m really hoping we get some good photos of Korri and me together. I love having photos taken every year! I still need to figure out what the heck to wear, though, haha.
