Our last night in the Keys was bittersweet to say the least. I wasn't completely ready to leave paradise just yet but I did feel reenergized; I'm already looking forward to my next beach vacation! We ended the trip with a delicious dinner at a local sports bar, and even though it wasn't any place fancy, I felt the need to dress up for the occasion. (Plus, I hadn't yet worn this dress and I was determined to wear everything I packed at least once! Mission accomplished, save for the workout gear, haha.) I felt preppy in my seersucker dress and over-the-shoulder sweater tie. Did you spot my sunburn? Yikes!

I picked up the navy linen sweater at the Lilly Pulitzer store in Key West and the Kino sandals were a sweet souvenir gifted by my step mom. We had to stop at Lilly because we were in Florida, of course! I checked out the site before going to get an idea of what to look for. I ended up only grabbing things that were either solid white or solid navy, lol. Oops. I ended up with this hooded linen sweater! I haven't spent full retail price on something in a while (nor have I impulse bought something that quick; the store was closing so we were rushed), but I didn't have a long-sleeved top with me at all and it was great for wearing in the A/C and in the late evening/early morning when it was slightly cooler. I hope I get some more wear out of it now that I'm back home! Clothing souvenirs make slightly nervous now because the majority of the time, they were impulse buys and don't end up working out. The two items I got while in NYC weren't the best choices and neither was the top I picked up in Vienna last year...

You really can't go to Key West and not stop by Kino Sandals! They are handmade right in Key West (you can watch them work while picking out your own pair!) using natural leather and natural rubber. And the prices really can't be beat... Mine were $17! What?! I wasn't sure if I was going to find the right pair (the "thong" style sandals aren't my favorite, though I do wear flip-flops every once in a while), but I spotted these in the gorgeous deep red color and fell in love. Did I mention that they have padding on the footbed? Seriously, stop by the store if you go! You may find just the right pair to take home. :)
