It may be March, but winter isn't letting go just yet. A couple of pretty good snowstorms came through over the past week (I snapped these photos in between storms so the snow had melted a bit). Am I over it? Yes, very much so. ;) Have I mentioned that enough? Haha. I'm ready for the storms that rain in the valley and snow in the mountains but then clear out so it's warm and sunny afterward. Where do I need to live to get that kind of weather?! (...asking as an atmospheric scientist, ha!)

Anyway, this lingering chill in the air has pretty much exhausted my winter outfit creativity. I think I tried on at least five different outfits before settling on this one, and even still, it's not my favorite. While I love each piece individually (and actually, two of the items—the cardigan and sweater—were included in my winter 10x10), it doesn't really feel "special" enough for the blog. I mean, none of my outfits are particularly groundbreaking, but usually there's an element or two in them that makes me especially excited to wear and then share them here with you.

Still, I was cozy in this all-black base and chunky cardigan (which together with the blanket scarf kept me warm enough to run errands without another coat). Fingers crossed we'll get a taste of spring sooner rather than later!
