Guys, it has been downright HOT here. We are forecasted to hit or exceed 100°F every single day this week, and that's after hitting triple digits three days in a row last week. (We also had record high low temperatures last week. One night didn't get below 81! #whut) Thank goodness we live in a dry climate or else we'd really be miserable.

Because we are now in the dog days of summer, I really dread getting dressed in the morning. None of my clothes sound appealing. It's at this time of year that I dislike blogging my outfits because it's so hard for me to think of cute, "blogworthy" outfits when I want to wear as few articles of clothing as possible. (This also happens in the dead of winter when I need to wear as many articles of clothing as possible to stay warm and dread taking photos outside!)

I threw this look together yesterday morning. The silk shorts from Grana are nice and breezy while the crop top keeps things fun and flirty. I added my quartz pendant necklace to tie it all together and give the look some dimension. It's too bad it was so hot outside; I didn't get to spend much time out and about in this outfit!
