Season Remix: Red mini skirt

Camel sweater, red mini skirt, black ankle boots, faux fur scarf — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

I've owned this red mini skirt from Madewell for nearly two years now, and it has yet to make an appearance in the cooler months! I think it's because its bright color naturally lends itself to warmer weather; also, for some reason, I didn't think black tights would work with this skirt. I'm glad to have been proven wrong! I previously featured this skirt in a super girly spring outfit and a fun late summer outfit, among others.

I warmed up the skirt with a camel sweater and my faux fur scarf. I had a hard time deciding between my pairs of black boots, but I ended up picking my sleek ankle boots, though I did have to be careful trekking through the snow and ice since these have no traction. We've been hit with storm after storm after storm. I'm seriously over it. Nothing would make me happier than if spring arrived early. Unfortunately, I'm not sure a rodent can make that happen since even we meteorologists can't make that happen. ;)
