Winter whites

Camel coat, ivory sweater, white jeans, cognac boots, Coach bag -- Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

I've wanted to wear this outfit all winter but have been putting it off for the "perfect" day. I didn't want to waste this look on just any ordinary day. You know how those "perfect" days never actually come? Well, it was the end of February and I still hadn't worn this outfit. I didn't want to save it for next winter. So, this past weekend, for a day of running errands, I finally wore it. No, I didn't do anything spectacular that day. Only a handful of people saw me. I've been trying harder to not save my favorite pieces or outfits for only special days because nine times out of ten, those days will never come around...and why not wear what I love every day! (Though, note to self: Don't wear white if you're planning on washing the car and wiping off the gunk that collects in the crevices.)

Not going to lie, I'm pretty proud of how this outfit came together. I absolutely love white, camel, and cognac together. It just feels so fresh, especially in the winter when I'm constantly putting together outfits from the darker side of my wardrobe. It's making me especially excited for spring, which is (hopefully!) only a couple of weeks away! I'm ready to start transitioning into lighter colors and fabrics. Really hoping Utah doesn't let me down this year. ;)
