Idahome

Burgundy cardigan, Home T, black pants, black boots, statement necklace — Cotton Cashmere Cat Hair

Last week, I mentioned that Chris and I were headed to visit my family for Thanksgiving, and if you've read my post listing ten things you may not know about me, you'd know that I'm from Idaho. :) We took the cats with us and spent a few days relaxing and, of course, eating. Even though the trip back was less than pleasant, I'm looking forward to spending more time up there in a few weeks for Christmas.

For the trip, I basically only packed a few tops, two chunky cardigans to layer over the tops, the comfiest pairs of pants I own, and a variety of boots depending on what Mother Nature threw at us (it snowed...see the pond behind me? It was frozen over only a couple of days later). I realized that I need to wear my chunky cardigans more than I currently do because they are so warm and so easy to layer over other tops, especially ones that aren't seasonally appropriate on their own, like this tee I'm wearing.

P.S. I received a DSLR camera for my birthday/Christmas, and I'm so excited! With that comes a learning curve, though, so please bear with me as Chris and I figure out which settings are best. (Right now I only have the kit lens, but I plan on purchasing a prime lens for portraits as soon as I am able!)
