Three Everlane Summer Staples
Y’all know that I wear a lot of Everlane! Everlane makes up a large part of my closet, so sometimes it happens that I put together an outfit made up entirely (or almost entirely) of items from the brand. This outfit features three of my favorite summer staples from Everlane: the cotton box-cut tee dress, day crossover sandals, and baseball cap. All of these items were purchased in past years and have been worn a number of times so far this summer, so I truly consider them to be staples in my wardrobe!
I honestly wish I had more than one of these box-cut tee dresses. Tee dresses are amazing for the work from home life/quarantine life in general because they’re comfortable and not fussy whatsoever. I love that this dress isn’t clingy and doesn’t accentuate the parts of my body I’m most insecure about. The sandals were a purchase from last summer, and I think they have been worn almost every time I left the house so far this summer! The leather is sooo soft. The soles are flat, so I wouldn’t walk miles in these, but they’re still incredibly comfortable. And my baseball caps have been on heavy rotation this summer; I can’t be bothered to do my hair most days!
Other non-Everlane summer staples include my belt bag (for hands-free outings!), go-to sunglasses, and, of course, a face mask! These simple masks made by Shon Simon (a Black-owned, U.S.-based small business) fit my face perfectly.
