Gift Guide: Locally-owned Boise Businesses
I’m wrapping up this year’s gift guides with a big one featuring a bunch of locally-owned businesses located right here in Boise! There truly are many gems to be found right here in the Treasure Valley. This post includes 25 local businesses—which is nowhere near exhaustive—that offer everything from kitschy, unique gifts to home goods to sweet treats to apparel and jewelry and more!
All of the businesses listed below follow strict COVID guidelines so you can shop safely in person, and I mention which neighborhood in Boise the business is located if applicable. Most of them offer online shopping if you’re like me and prefer to avoid shopping in stores or if you live out of state but still want to support them; just click on their name to be taken to their website! Taters (downtown) — A one-stop-shop for any and all Idaho-themed and -made products and souvenirs: apparel, food, knick-knacks, books, puzzles, etc.
Mixed Greens (downtown) — A catch-all curated gift shop with unique gifts for anyone on your list. Many products are local and handmade. Curbside pick-up available.

Flying M Coffeehouse (downtown) — Coffeeshop with house-roasted coffee that also offers unique gifts.

a’Tavola (downtown) — House-made salads, soups, and bakery items, plus imported specialty foods, gifts, housewares, and seasonal home decor.
Dunia Marketplace (north end) — Non-profit, fair trade store featuring handmade items from local and global artisan families.
Eyes of the World Imports (downtown) — Unique and affordable apparel, jewelry, knick knacks, wellness products, and more from around the world. Curbside pickup available.
Boise Farmers Market (downtown/seasonal) — The weekly drive-thru market is happening through December 19th and offers local produce and other products from local businesses.
