I’m not gonna lie, we’ve had some pretty nice weather so far this season. It hasn’t been too terribly cold or snowy in the valley (everything that has fallen has melted…though it’s looking like things might change this weekend/next week). Korri and I took full advantage of a recent “warm” winter day and went for a walk along the river. Even though the air was crisp, I stayed comfortable in a light long-sleeved tee under my parka and even bared my ankles without hating my decision to do so! ;)

This outfit features three newcomers to my closet: a striped henley tee from Marine Layer, a second pom-pom beanie from J.Crew in ivory, and a second pair of my favorite sunglasses by Le Specs! Marine Layer is a relatively new-to-me brand that has become my favorite for loungewear. I purchased a few of their double knit raglan tops to upgrade my sleepwear from old free tees and love them. I keep my eyes peeled on Poshmark for new colors. This henley tee is lightweight (and wrinkle-prone, haha) and the epitome of comfortable. I love that everything is eco-friendly as well as ethically and sustainably made. A lot of it is made right here in the U.S.! They have a program called ReSpun which collects old tees to make them into new ones! For reference, I have preferred the fit of the tops in size small.

I love and wear my black pom-pom beanie so much that I purchased a second one in ivory. You may remember that I already have an ivory beanie, but it’s just a little long for my head. This beanie fits my head perfectly without the pom-pom drooping. I also snatched my favorite style of Le Specs sunglasses (the Air Heart) when I found them in black on Poshmark! I’m trying to shop more secondhand and am thrilled to now have a second pair of these sunglasses. I have super sensitive eyes and need to wear sunglasses almost every day (even if it’s cloudy) so it’s nice to have a little bit of variety!
