You Are What You Love
Taylor Swift’s 7th studio album, Lover, dropped today, which I’m sure you’ve heard about by now. Have you listened to it yet?! (If not, the full album is available on YouTube!) As a self-proclaimed Swiftie, I’m obsessed. Right now, my favorite songs (in no particular order) are Lover, I Think He Knows, The Man, Paper Rings, and Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince…but honestly, it’s nearly impossible to narrow it down to only those five! What are your favorites?!
I put together this outfit yesterday in honor of the release of Lover. Pinkish-red floral print and blush fit the mood of the album, though I kind of wish I had worn my boyfriend jeans instead of these navy linen pants since the jeans are a light wash and better fit the mood, but oh well. The color blue is actually mentioned in quite a few songs so the navy still fits in that regard. ;) Funnily enough, one of my colleagues wore a very similar outfit to mine yesterday, but hers wasn’t in honor of Lover, haha.
Even though I had a short work week thanks to my trip to Minneapolis, it still felt long since I was so busy at work, and I’m really looking forward to the weekend! I’m really hoping to head down to the farmers market because the fresh produce is the best AND I can get myself a boba drink. Yum! And of course, I plan to listen to Lover a lot.
