May is for midi skirts

New year, same season, same outfit…! Spring means it’s time to break out my skirts again! This striped midi skirt by Amour Vert was my first midi skirt purchase a couple of years ago. I typically wear it with these beige sandals by Earthies—the first pair of shoes I received in my partnership with Earth—since they elongate my leg line. Even though the skirt itself isn’t white, I love wearing my plain white tee with it. I first wore this base outfit last spring with my charcoal suede jacket, and I’m sure I’ll be repeating it again with other “third pieces” in the future! It’s a no-fail outfit that I often wear to work.

Everything in this look, save for my recent earring addition and sunglasses, is at least two years old. It’s super important for me to only blog outfits that I actually wear in real life with clothes that I wear multiple times like any other person would. As much fun as it is to put together new outfits with new items, I love the challenge of restyling my favorite items over and over again! Plus, it’s not realistic (or inexpensive…or good for the environment) to constantly be buying and wearing only new items. (I may or may not be writing this as a reminder to myself because I’ve been a little too buy-happy lately. It’s hard for me to resist all the cute new spring/summer releases! Whew…)
