April Style Sudoku: Outfits 6–10
I’m closing in on the last few days of my style sudoku! Last Friday, I shared my first five outfits, and now I’m back with outfits 6-10. OUTFIT 6 • Friday, April 12th
I broke out the white denim for a beautiful Friday in the office, and it was my first time wearing my new cotton-linen sweater from Everlane! When I first received it, I wasn’t sure that I liked the size I got, but now that I’ve worn it out I’m happy with it. (A good thing since this color sold out of most sizes pretty quickly…) I love, love the color scheme: army green, sand, bone, and brown. It’s perfect for spring!

OUTFIT 7 • Saturday, April 13th
Woo, the weekend! Today marked the first day of the farmer’s market downtown, and it was also Record Store Day, so we spent the early afternoon perusing both the market and the record store! I indulged in my favorite mini donuts at the market and ended up picking up two new records at the record store (but the special release I wanted was gone by the time we got there, boo). It was an absolutely beautiful day; I was almost too warm wearing this sweater! Sadly, my pinkie toes were sad and blistered after walking around in these shoes for a couple of hours.

OUTFIT 8 • Sunday, April 14th
We started our Sunday morning with brunch at one of our favorite restaurants downtown. Since the rain had mostly passed, I decided to not wear my final rain boot outfit. Instead I went with this cozy ensemble. I love the tonal contrast between the sweater blazer and sweater, and I felt super put together for brunch. We ended up going to a softball game afterwards. I brought a jacket along with me to keep warm but I also wish I had a blanket! It ended up being decently nice out with high clouds in the sky. I did, however, almost ruin my shoes in the wet, muddy grass, so maybe the rain boots would have been a better idea! ;)

OUTFIT 9 • Monday, April 15th
Back at work...wah-wah. I had a meeting to attend for my boss so I decided to wear one of the outfits with my navy blazer. This outfit featured monochrome navy with the contrasting cognac ankle boots. I think it’s a little too heavy on the navy/dark denim for me but I love the gold buttons on the blazer. I did find it annoying that the sleeves of my tee kept riding up under my blazer sleeves during the day. I don’t remember having that issue with the other striped shirt but will pay closer attention next time.

OUTFIT 10 • Tuesday, April 16th
Tuesday felt like Wednesday if that gives you any indication about how I’m feeling about the week, haha! Like basically every other day, I spent the day at my desk. This outfit feels like more of a weekend outfit, but it still worked fine for work. This outfit is my favorite so far—it feels the most “me” and is one I plan to repeat in the future. I absolutely love how the sweater is slightly cropped because it works perfectly with my high-waisted jeans and pants! And the color scheme is full of neutrals I love.
