It’s my final winter outfit—woohoo! I’m so excited for warmer temperatures and spring outfits. Now that I said that, I’m sure it’ll snow again once or twice…LOL. We do have 60 (!) degrees in our long-range forecast and I’m really hoping it sticks around. I’m ready for sunshine and warmth. I’m also very excited that we are now in Daylight Saving Time. I’m definitely team DST year-round. There’s something about the extra light in the evening that makes it really feel like spring is here!

My final two winter outfits featured mostly black, mostly because they’re easy outfits to put together and wear. I absolutely love wearing all-black outfits, but I don’t wear them very often because I live with two cats and their hair is absolutely everywhere. (I learned that it’s best to shoot black outfits with the sun behind me, and the high contrast helps to conceal those stray cat hairs!) I added the striped silk shell under the cropped sweater to prevent the sweater from blending into the jeans, and my shiny oxfords added an extra textural element. I haven’t worn these shoes in a few months and I had forgotten how much I adore them whenever I do wear them. They remain one of my best impulse purchases! ;)
