How to Style White Sneakers for Fall
I had a little bit of fun with this casual weekend outfit that I wore on a recent shopping date! I was itching to style my white sneakers in a decidedly fall outfit…and this is what I threw together: a striped tee with dark red stripes (the white stripes tie into the white sneakers), black denim (can’t go wrong with those), and my grey suede jacket for a little extra texture and dimension (and because it was warm enough to wear it instead of a puffy coat…and I know those days are numbered!).
I really like how it all came together. It’s not super matchy-matchy, which is good because I can get sort of stuck in a matchy-matchy rut. It’s too easy to wear the exact same colors! A lot of my favorite outfits are ones like these that include a mish-mash of different colors and textures that end up going well together. Gotta keep that in mind when planning outfits in the future.
As far as the white sneakers go, it was fun to get another wear out of them before the cold hit, and I loved them with the black denim! High contrast = high impact. That combo will have to be repeated at some point in the future for sure. Now it’s time for me to start figuring out what the heck I’m going to wear for the rest of fall as the cold is setting in (and snow is in the forecast next week—BOO).
